It's been more than two years since Justice League arrived in theaters and delivered disappointing box office results. In the time since, Ben Affleck has been completely replaced as Batman, with Robert Pattinson taking over the role for a brand new trilogy under the direction of Matt Reeves. While Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa have continued their work as Wonder Woman and Aquaman, and Ezra Miller is still trying to get a Flash movie off the ground, everything surrounding Henry Cavill's Superman has grown quiet. There were reports that the actor was finished with the role following Justice League, but he is continuing to cast doubt on the validity of that notion.

Following a weekend in which Affleck and Gadot publicly supported the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign, Men's Health published a new interview with Cavill, in which he stated that he still hadn't given up on playing Superman in another movie. In fact, the actor confirmed that he still has the classic red cape hanging up in his closet, ready to be worn at any time.

"The cape is in the closet," Cavill said. "It's still mine."

Cavill went on to explain that he's still very much invested in the story of Superman on screen and that he has a lot to offer the role. There's been no word as to whether or not Cavill will again play the iconic hero, but it sounds like, if it were up to him, he'd be down to don the cape once again

Čili nic potvrzeno není, je dále v roli, jen mu neřekli že vůbec s ním nic nechystají, respektive řekli to několikrát veřejně že se supermanem žádné pořádně další plány nejsou... Takže ano, má ve skříni oblek připraven obléknout, ale je to dle mě podobné jako že Affleckovi taky neřekli že skončil.. Velká škoda, doufám že hrát bude dál, jako superman je skvělej tedy až na Ligu tam se nelíbil...
Moc tomu nepomáhají ani zvěsti o tom že snad Abrams připravuje něco se supermanem, Nova série která bude možná zařazena do světa nového Batmana a azyk už shazam tak trochu napověděl že Cavill asi skutečně skončil i když nechce a věří že se vrátí..

Ironic podle mě se na té novince dělá... Nejspíš je jen málo času... Nepotvrdil náhodou Cavill jen že by stále chtěl být a že stále věří že bude další superman ne že je pořád superman? Teď si nejsem jistej ale jeden server citoval že tomu věří a že by chtěl ne že je... Ale třeba máš pravdu

imi: na tomto serveri sa asi spi, lebo uz je ohlaseny Joker 2... a este jedna zaujimavost Twitter ide "vybuchnut", kvoli hastagu #releaseTheSnyderCut... oficialne to podporili Ben Affleck, gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, vsetci herci co tam hrali (Okrem cavila), aj Joe Manganielo, Ryan Reynolds, tiez Dave Bautista..pisali o tom aj na BBC, tiez podporil to aj Martin Scorsese, tych hastagov sa to uz blizi k milionu....stale sa zverjnuje nieco nove zo Zackovej verzie...viem myslis si o tom svoje.. ale ludia stale za to bojuju
